Sally Bogle, Executive Coach
“In all my work, I believe it’s vital to meet people where they are, to create with them a safe and supportive space, in which they can pause and really notice what’s going on. From this place, they are more able to be kind to themselves as well as to embrace challenge. This provides a springboard for experimentation and creating new ways forward.”
Sally has been coaching for over 20 years and has worked with leaders at all levels, and across public, private and voluntary sectors. She has a passion for helping individuals and teams lead and work through periods of significant change, helping them to be creative whilst keeping ‘their feet on the ground’ and building their resilience.
Prior to becoming a professional coach, Sally headed up the Learning and Development function for an entrepreneurial organisation, which is now a FTSE 100 Company. The exponential growth and steep learning curve this business went through gave her invaluable experience and deep empathy for the personal impacts this sort of change can have, particularly on leaders.
She has considerable experience of coaching those preparing for, or transitioning into, new roles, working on building confidence and self-belief, leadership capability and voice, resilience and well-being.
Sally’s recent work client work has involved:
- Supporting clients through periods of stress and overwhelm;
- Reconnecting with core personal values and making decisions from this base;
- Balancing practical needs with career and life dreams and aspirations – developing courage and confidence;
- Building and sustaining relationships as a leader and making tough ‘people’ decisions.
Clients describe her style as ‘enabling’, ‘supportive’, ‘reflective’, ‘insightful’ and ‘real-life’. She likes working systemically, taking into account the client’s whole person and context, working with creative techniques and techniques drawn from Gestalt, Emotional Intelligence and Mindfulness.
